In the event of an ischemic stroke, every second counts. This project focuses on improving care and recovery in patients suffering from an ischemic stroke through innovative technology and more efficient decision-making in the ambulance. Faster treatment and better patient outcomes. Christian talked to project leader Prof. Bob Roozenbeek. - Long COVID is diagnosed if the symptoms still persist after three months. However, it is not known which symptoms patients might have suffered from prior to COVID-19. This article shows that the impact of nano- and microplastics on human health is still largely unknown. Follow-up research is therefore needed because for decades, people have come into contact with the small plastic particles in their living environment via the air, water and food. These small particles vary in size from nanometres to micrometres.
