MOVE: mechanisms supporting strengthening primary care

Access to primary and social welfare care is challenged by rising demand, workforce shortages, and fragmented service delivery. To address this, health and social care professionals collaborate in local primary care networks (WSVs), supported by regional alliances (RESVs). To strengthen local and regional collaborations, interregional learning is provided (the LeVEL project).

Aim and approach

Additionally, this research aims to evaluate these collaborations and the impact/value for different stakeholders. Combining social science and design-based methodologies – e.g. the Double Diamond model, Realist Evaluation – the research explores mechanisms across 6 thematic areas. To synthesize the findings, Ripple Effect Mapping workshops are organized.

Expected results

The goal is to generate transferable insights and actionable recommendations for professionals, policymakers, citizens, and other key stakeholders. Also, in the last phase of this research advice for long-term measures of the effects and impact is provided.
