Het probleem bij geïnfecteerde implantaten is dat micro-organismen georganiseerd zijn in een biofilm, een soort fort, die hen beschermt tegen ons immuunsysteem en antibiotica. Ik ga niet-invasieve inductieverwarming gebruiken om de micro-organismen te doden en de muren van het biofilm fort te beschadigen om zo de infectie te genezen.
