Genomics guided diagnosis and treatment of asthma inception
Het is niet mogelijk om astma in de eerste levensjaren te diagnosticeren of gericht te behandelen. Dit onderzoek beoogt astma vroeg vast te stellen met een DNA-test van neuscellen. Een nieuwe behandeling van astma wordt ontwikkeld op basis van kennis over de erfelijke oorzaken van astma, en gericht op een luchtwegcel betrokken bij het ontstaan van astma.
