De tuberculose bacterie is opmerkelijk resistent tegen antibiotica vanwege zijn versterkte celwand. Wij gaan ontrafelen hoe deze celwand werkt om de verdediging in stand te houden en tegelijkertijd essentiële voedingsstoffen te transporteren. Deze kennis gaan we gebruiken om nieuwe antibiotica te ontwikkelen.
