During the current pandemic, it quickly became clear that the coronavirus and the measures to combat it were having an effect on mental health. ZonMw has therefore funded research to identify which groups experienced extra difficulties, how an appropriate provision of care and support can be set up and what lessons can be learned from the pandemic. -
GP practices were less easy to visit during COVID-19 and remote care was offered. The lockdowns also had short-term effects on dietary patterns and physical activity.
